Job Description

This person is a key Commercial Lender of a growing community contributing to the origination of commercial loans.

• Growing revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. 
• Developing referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other sources in order to proactively solicit business and conduct sales-related activities, in order to meet specific loan volume origination goals
• Approving loans within assigned limits, manages loan and portfolio credit quality, sources prospects and develops new customer relationships. 
• Acting as the front line contact with customers and realtors to ensure that documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner.
• Identifying and successfully capitalizes on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals.

Reporting to the CEO will proactively lead the development and implementation of the Bank’s strategic plan, challenge and motivate staff with visionary leadership, develop an effective sales cultural, achieve short and long term financial objectives, anticipate and respond to industry trends, and participate in civic and community activities.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive background in overall bank management, commercial and consumer lending, credit administration, financial management, operations, risk management, ALM, ALLL, and regulatory compliance and will demonstrate the ability to pursue and maintain long-term banking relationships and a reputation above reproach. Ten years of executive leadership within a financial institution or related industry strongly preferred. A passion and an aptitude for community banking are essential.
