Job Description

This person is a key Commercial Lender of a growing community contributing to the origination of commercial loans.

  • Growing revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. 
  • Developing referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other sources in order to proactively solicit business and conduct sales-related activities, in order to meet specific loan volume origination goals
  • Approving loans within assigned limits, manages loan and portfolio credit quality, sources prospects and develops new customer relationships. 
  • Acting as the front line contact with customers and realtors to ensure that documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and successfully capitalizes on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals.

  • Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of credit and credit quality

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive background in overall bank management, commercial and consumer lending, credit administration, financial management, operations, risk management, ALM, ALLL, and regulatory compliance and will demonstrate the ability to pursue and maintain long-term banking relationships and a reputation above reproach.   • Four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or equivalent field preferred
