Mechanical Engineer 

Looking for a great opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in off-road vehicle design with a stable and innovative company in Wisconsin? Our client is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a strong hydraulics background. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will provide you with the responsibilities of: 

• Designing hydraulic systems using Pro-E
• Assisting the sales staff in quoting new products
• Managing the new projects from customer input/concept through production
• Researching industry trends and applying new concepts to vehicle designs
• Developing designs and evaluating their performance using FEA and other techniques to reduce prototype iterations
• Ensuring new designs are cost effective, easy to manufacture and paint
• Coordinate development, layout, testing, drafting, and fabrication to ensure project objectives are met per the schedule
• Working with the production personnel to launch new products successfully
• Communicating the status of your projects to other team members and upper management
• Analyzing field issues and recommending possible solutions 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in designing hydraulic systems
• Pro-Engineering CAD program
• Experience with FEA and FMEAs (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Project management experience
• A high sense of creativity
