Manufacturing Engineering Manager 

Looking for a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing injection molding company?  We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager that has experience leading Engineers and can help to continue to grow the organization! 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This position reports to the President and will provide the following duties: 

• Manage Manufacturing Engineering department including interviewing, training, planning, performance reviews, and disciplinary action 
• Manage projects and support to the manufacturing and sales team with new products or product revisions
• Manage all areas of new and existing projects and new technology
• Document and present product and operations improvement concepts
• Estimate parts and cost
• Recommend cost effective manufacturing and packaging options
• Maintain record of estimates
• Manage bill of materials and production records
• Review production records and recommend cost effective solutions to maintain or improve part quality
  • Review may include: engineering design of workstations or equipment, time studies, tool modifications, machine utilization, packaging and/or material handling methods
• Evaluate results and prepare cost analysis reports 
• Support customers through modification suggestions, material or procedural changes and project status 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• B.S. degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with knowledge of molding, tooling, and manufacturing processes in the plastics industry required
• Personnel leadership and management experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
